La Route Napoléon

It's a legendary road! If it is called the "Napoleon route", it is because it is this route that Emperor Bonaparte took during his 100 days of regaining power. Returning from Elba Island, on March 1, 1815, he landed in Golfe Juan and then went up to Paris via the Alps. From Golfe Juan to Grenoble. Winding, it crosses 340 kilometers of astonishing and varied landscapes. Between the Mediterranean and the Alps, you can discover the Nice hinterland, the steep landscapes of the Verdon, the passes and summits of the Southern Alps. This historic route is also a land of human adventures and passionate characters who bring it to life.
